Jacko
Having received a thorough grounding in the philosophy and techniques of representational, figurative fine art at the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, Jacko taught sculpture before returning to London and holding two successful solo exhibitions. Recent public commissions include a statue for the Irish Guards, to be installed on Windsor High Street in June 2011, and a posthumous statue of Sir Ludwig "Poppa" Guttmann, the founder of the Paralympic Games, for the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville in 2012. Jacko is also available for private commissions.
"The human features and figure can communicate so much more than their own inherent aesthetic beauty: character, emotion, concept, sheer timeless humanity."
