Kerry Edwards is both traditional and modern. Primarily working in watercolours,
Kerry explores the Domestic Still Life. Her sublime control of the watercolour
technique is hidden by her lightness of touch. She is an assured artist who
seamlessly blends colour with a strong sense of structure and design. The final
painting is always completed in a single sitting and this immediacy gives Kerry’s
work a dynamic and lively quality.
Kerry’s work evokes memories of a romantic childhood of Cornish blue ceramics and
heaving bowls of fruits and vegetables. She works direct from nature and this
honesty allows her Art to compliment most interiors.
A hugely popular artist Kerry has exhibited across the South of England. Her 2009
exhibitions include The Hampshire Art Fair October and Leaden Hall Bi-annual.
